Cinco de Mayo is less than 2 weeks away!  Here is a one of my favorite recipes that I enjoy bring to the party! 

Taco Dip 

  • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) Cream Cheese, softened 
  • 1 package Taco Seasoning Mix
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup guacamole
  • 1 cup Salsa (or Picante)
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup dices tomatoes
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese

MIX the cream cheese and seasoning mix until well blended. Spread onto bottom of a pie plate.

LAYER lettuce, Salsa (or Picante), tomato and cheese over the cream cheese mixture; cover. Refrigerate several hours or until chilled.

GARNISH with the guacamole and sour cream around the edge for dipping.   

SERVE with tortilla chips.
